Wake me when it´s over

Photosource:unknown

What I really want for Christmas?
Let me crawl into bed and somebody wake me when it´s over...
The cooking...
The cleaning...
The noise...
The same conversations...
I don´t have the energy for it all...
I just want it to be over with.
I´d love to just climb into bed and wake up in 2012
I´ll feel differently next year... but this year, it feels like it will never end!

Read this post turns me sad.
I try everything to you to be happy and seems nothing works...

Don´t be... you keep me sane in the madness and chaos and you give me reason to keep going even when my energy is on low.
If I smile, it´s because you put it there.

Kids, have a heart. You do have each other, and at times it's a struggle to make it be enough.

What you should de aware is that as long as you love each other, have mutual respect and make each other laugh with silly things just for the sake of it, you will be a merry couple.

Now Luis I don't know personaly, but I do know Carla and I trust that she made a good judgment in picking a lifetime mate.

Sour days will always happen. That is when we get to realise that we found the one. That's when we have a clown to make us laugh and lift us up when everything seems to go wrong. A safe heaven. And I trust that you are that safe heaven to my friend, as I'm sure she is to you Luis.

Women are just like that. Complicated, filled of little games, but still adorable and they do make us feel warm inside, and have an urge to get back home. They don't always feel happy or sad because of us, but they do hold on because of our support and love. I have a wife too, and believe me, I know what I talk about.

We don't have to understand everything about each other, although it's nice to be around when the other part feels confident and safe to open up and talk about whatever is eating us inside.

Love does need taking care of, but we are not fortune tellers that can say at each moment what's going on in each other's mind. Learn to forgive yourself for not being perfect. It's probably what caught Carla's attention for you in the first place :)

To you Carla, my dear friend, how I understand you. You just gave me a clue on how to tell my wife the feeling Christams gives me. An urge that it passes on the fly and go away soon.

I remember our conversations on the phone some years ago, and sometimes you had trouble in explaining yourself, but you always tried. Keep trying, don't make Luis guess. You can make such sense of your toughts. BTW, miss reading you. Not these short posts, the other ones with more juice and substance.

A merry Christmas to the three of you, and may this new year become the blessing year for your family. May God bless your home, and fill it with love and happiness always. Keep smilling.
